Challenge Week 5 || Style A Few Potted Herbs
This week’s challenge is to style a few potted herbs. Potted herbs are a lovely way to bring life and beauty to any indoor place. They also serve such a functional purpose as you can use them to have fresh herbs with every meal. I love decorating with beautiful functional items. Items that serve a purpose, items that add character and warmth to a space. It brings the space life and adds just the right amount of cozy. Here are three tips to help you complete this weeks challenge.
1. During the spring and early summer months you can find small herb plants at most garden, hardware, or grocery store. On you next visit, pick up a couple of your favorites to bring home.
2. Choose a couple of favorite pots for your herbs. I love to thrift pots and can always find a few at the thrift store. My favorites are terra cotta or white pots. I love the matte finish and a variety of textures and patterns.
3. When you pot your herbs you can simple add the potted herb into the pretty pot, no need to transplant. Of course you can transplant the herb, but you don’t need to. Add your potted herbs to any area in your home. I love having mine in my kitchen window where it gets lots of light and it is easy to take and use a few sprigs at meal prep time.
I will show you how I style a few potted herbs on Wednesday and invite you to join me. And I will be sharing a mini styling a few potted herb class on Thursday, live on Instagram at 10am.
