Challenge Week 3 || Frame An Art Print
This week’s challenge is to frame an art print, one of my favorite things to do. It’s such an easy way to add beautiful decor to any space. You can choose art that matches the season or choose art that can work in your home year round. Here are three tips to help you with this weeks challenge.
1. Thrift the frame you will use. Frames are so easy and inexpensive to find at any thrift store. You can find them in any color or finish. Find a frame that you love that is close to the size that you want, you can always print and cut the piece of art to fit the frame.
2. Shop your art print online. Find a favorite online print shop or search art prints on Etsy. There are so many options!
My favorite print shop is @bffprintshop. I love their collections of seasonal art prints and how they often add new prints to there shop.
3. Don’t be afraid to play around with size when you’re framing your prints. Large, oversized prints are so fun to frame and make such a big impact in any space. Small prints are easy to frame and will fit anywhere. Framing a variety of sizes and putting them together in a gallery wall is a great option. I’ve done this in a couple spaces in my home.
Even framing a smaller print and adding it to a space, leaving behind a lot of blank space is an interesting way to use framed art.
I will show you how I frame an art print on Wednesday and invite you to join me. And I will be sharing a mini framed art print class on Thursday, live on Instagram at 10am.
