How do we create a cozy winter home? Today I’m sharing with you 5 ways to make that happen in your home.
1. Candles & Diffusers
I love using candles and diffusers to make my home smell lovely and to add a layer of cozy to any space. Lit candles at the dinner table, a diffuser going in your bedroom at bedtime, lighting a candle while I’m doing the dinner dishes, these all are ways to create an atmosphere of cozy in our home and in our daily rhythm.
My favorite candles are from Antique Candles and here and here is a link to a couple awesome diffusers.
2. Pillows & Throws
Adding layers of cozy to any space can be done through pillows and throws. In my opinion, you can never have too many. My family loves to cuddle up with all the squishy, cozy pillows and blankets, whether we are watching a movie or chatting by the fire, they more then likely are cuddled up with a blanket. Making these available to the family makes for cozy, comfy home.
These pillows look awesome! I love getting pillow covers from Hobby Lobby and throws from Target.
3. Music
Playing music that relaxes and invites will instantly bring a cozy feel to your home. I love having record players, CD players, and bluetooth speakers throughout my home. We have playlist for everything, and I love turning on a cozy playlist to make our home feel warm and inviting.
Kendra Adachi has some amazing playlists I love listening to. Here is her latest that is just fantastic!

4. Gallery Walls
You know I love a good gallery wall. When it comes to decor that you can put on your wall, gallery walls are definitely the coziest. You can bring together so many elements, adding sentimental items and family photos, or your favorite handmade decor. A gallery wall instantly creates cozy vibes in any space.

5. Add A Rug
Adding a rug to any space will add warmth, texture, and depth. Rugs make any room cozy and are a fun way to add layers of comfort to a space. I just added this rug to my bonus room and now this space has all the cozy feels.
Here is a rug I bought recently for the boys room.
And here is a rug I’m looking at for my office.
