Sharing my fall kitchen today. I wanted to give you a little tour of this space. I kept it simple by adding a little funky pumpkin from my garden. This pumpkin sprouted up on its own this year in the pepper row of my garden. I also added some cut fall foliage from my yard. Steve cut it down and thought it was pretty and asked if I wanted to use it. You have to love a man who appreciates pretty leftover pruned branches. I also added fall scented dish soap and am always burning seasonal candles or diffusing seasonal scents in this space. Yummy fall scents are my favorite and something I treat myself to daily.
Kept the decor super simple in this space this year. I have a lot of fall decor in other areas of my home, so keeping it simple in the kitchen felt right. I am thinking about doing a simple DIY fall wreath and adding it to the kitchen hood, we shall see. Thanks for joining me on this tour of one of my favorite spaces in my home! This space gets messy and loud and is a workhorse everyday of our lives. Six of us living in a home all day, everyday makes for an active, bustling kitchen. Over this last year, during those spring quarantine months, a summer without a lot of activities going on, and now doing online at home school each day makes for a busy, active home. Grateful for the messes of time together in this space and the rhythm of tidying it up each day.
What is your preference when you decorate? Do you keep it simple, or do you love all the decor?
