Today I’m sharing a simple Fall Wreath DIY. No glue or wire required.
Step 1 | Gather Supplies
- Grapevine wreath
- Faux fall foliage stems
Step 2 | Add First Layer of Stems
I just pushed them into the grapevine wreath until they were secure. Super simple. I grouped them and added layer by layer. I also am only covering a third of the wreath with the stems and leaving the rest of the wreath plain. My first layer was the first layer of wheat.

Step 3 | Add Second Layer of Stems
I added this dry wheat. I trimmed it a bit and bunched it into three bunches. Again, I just it pushed it into the wreath until it was secure.

Step 4 | Add Third Layer of Stems
I used these burnt orange stems and used the same process to push them into the wreath. The more foliage you use the tighter it is and you have to work a bit harder each time to push into the wreath.
Step 5 | Add Last Layer of Stems
I actually finished the wreath but then found these fun dried, weedy foliage at Hobby Lobby and had to add it. I love how it brings it all together.
Finished! You can see in my supply photo that I opted not to use the green leaf stems and just go with the wheat and the burnt orange stems. I decided I didn’t want to add the green.
Love how it turned out!
