Oh, spring, I’m so glad you are here, with your warm raining days. I thought I would share some of my favorite spring books on the blog today. If you click on the title, it will link you to the book on Amazon.
I thought I would start with these lovely books from Dianna Aston and Sylvia Long. Beautifully written and illustrated and very informative. We own An Egg Is Quiet and the other two I may end up adding to our collection this spring.
A sweet story.
Beautiful illustrations, full of words that describe spring.
All about feathers. For the older children who still love fabulous illustrations.
For those that are still surrounded by snow. This story is about finding flowers in the snow, helping you ease into spring.
This story is told through illustrations. I love seeing my little ones “read” these wordless stories.
A fun book about gardening that will have you and your children excited to start planting and dreaming.
Another book that we own. This is such a sweet tale of family, home, and gardens.
This is also one that we own. Miss Rumphius is such a classic, teaching us to give back and serve.
If you are looking for a perfect read aloud, here is a classic for this spring.
This has jumped onto my booklist for this year. Kate Morton is a new to me author and having read two of her books this last month, I absolutely love her stories and writing style. I have been told by a handful of friends that The Forgotten Garden is their favorite. A spring read for sure.
There are some gorgeous books on this list – thank you.

What a lovely list, I have come across the Dianna Aston books before but have yet to read one. They look beautiful 🙂
They really are quite lovely and informative. Thanks for visiting!
