This week I have been working on finishing this huge, bulky scarf I started on our anniversary trip. I’m not sure if I’m going to like it. It is color blocked and I love the colors and wanted it super big and bulky, but know I’m worried it will be too big and bulky. We shall see. Hoping I will love it when it is all said and done.
I finished reading The Secret Keeper earlier this week. Loved it. I love reading Kate Morton, an Australian author who writes mysteries set in historical England. Love. I started reading The House At Riverton and am listening to it on my phone. I signed up for audible.com (you can try it out for free) this last month and am finally getting around to listening to the books I purchased. Best part is I can knit while I read. Love that.
Here is what amazon says about The House At Riverton.
The House at Riverton is a gorgeous debut novel set in England between the wars. Perfect for fans of Downton Abbey, it is the story of an aristocratic family, a house, a mysterious death and a way of life that vanished forever, told in flashback by a woman who witnessed it all and kept a secret for decades.
Yum. Yes please. I think I’ll like this one. Perfect way to end my days, knitting and reading.
