A Woman of Independent Means

This book was an interesting read for me.  I didn’t know the premise of the book when I started reading and I was waiting for quite awhile for the plot to began.  But it never did, or should I say, the plot was what the book title implies, the story of a woman.  It was written in the form of letters from the woman to others in the book.  It began at the beginning of her life and ended at the end of her life.  It was a slow read, but I persisted, and made it through to the end.
