So, here it is. The orange books I have read, the blue books I am reading (or have started reading), and the others are what I have left. Can you tell I gravitate towards fiction versus nonfiction. Actually, I think I have been reading a lot of nonfiction books related to homeschooling as of late (that are not on the list) and so I reach for the fiction to balance me out.
I’m posting this to help inspire me to jump in and start reading a bit more. I naturally tend to do that in the cooler months but this just helps me see where I am at and what I have left to finish this year. I, of course, have read a few titles this year that were not on the list as you can see in the sidebar under books I’ve read. I just have to remind myself that this list is just for fun, a motivational tool, to get me reading a variety of different things, not something to stress me out. If I feel something is more important, I can read that instead, and have some of these spill over into this next year. That is perfectlly okay.
