These were the only Easter photos I was able to take this morning. We ran out of time and I decided not to push it. I was a bit disappointed, to say the least, and hope to be able recreate take some this next week. So, since I only have a few photos below to share I will let you imagine. We were all greys and blues, with bright colors in Steve’s tie and Isabelle’s dress.
I have been playing around with effects in photoshop elements. I still love anything and everything distressed.
We had ham chowder and rolls for dinner. Simple and yummy! Andrew and Erin joined us. We had a little easter egg hunt and took turns opening the numbered eggs. Each egg held an item and a scripture that spoke of Christ’s experience during his last days on earth. We watch a couple videos on lds.org. The videos were wonderful if you have a chance to check them out. We ended the evening dying eggs with the children.
Next year I want to extend Easter throughout the entire week. I always think of doing it but have not planned.
It was a wonderful day to celebrate our risen Lord.
