A couple days ago I left the kids (Jakob and Isabelle) upstairs to watch a movie. I came down to do some bookkeeping for the business. Isabelle came down a little later with her hair like this. I think I was to shocked to be angry, I was justs soooo sad!!! My baby girls beautiful, long, thick, silky hair was all chopped up!! We soon found out that Jakob and Isabelle were behind her new haircut. After the shock of it wore off I was pretty upset. I couldn’t believe my 6 year old had helped do this. He said that Isabelle asked him to cut it, that he was just trying to trim her bangs, and that he did take a little off the side.
I tried to call Steve and when he didn’t answer I called my mom. So glad that she answered! She reassured me that everything would be ago, that kids do this, and her hair will grow.
I knew Steve was going to be so upset when he came home and saw what had happened. When he got home he just laughed. When I asked him why he wasn’t so upset he said that everyone does it. I told him I had to take her in and get it taken care of that night. We went in and the lady we got tried to cut it to the shoulders and layer in the shorter pieces. She worked on it for about 40 minutes and tried so hard. I was not happy with the cut, but knew she tried her best. I took Isabelle home with what looked like a bad 80s haircut.

Oh Callie.. I would have expected Steve to be mad too.. lol.. poor Callie.. it will be fine! she is cute either way… Good thing huh!
I love her new haircut! It's adorable! And just think of all the time you'll save in the morning when all you have to do is run a brush through her hair. 🙂
At least you got your family pictures taken before this happened! I'm sure it will grow back faster then you think!
awww, it's sad to miss the long hair but she sure can pull off that pixie look – cute. And it will grow back!!
