Things To Get and One Thing I Got

Sooooo……….what do I do all day?? Now that I have figured out how to recline at the computer I spend at least an hour or two or more a day on looking, scrapbooking, downloading, and even buying. That nesting instinct doesn’t just magically go away when you are on bedrest. Oh no, it would be so nice if it did, but I have to fight it off everyday. I want to get ready for this baby, badly!!! What, you may ask, is my strategy for conquering this gut instinct inside of me and still obeying my doctor?? Well, I have been researching baby items on the computer. I may not be able to buy them now, or ever, but at least I can look and get an idea of what I want. I just sit and imagine what I will do when I can get off bedrest!! You know, when I finally get off bedrest, have this baby, am nursing all day, awake all night, trying to adjust to three children, and getting my house and life back in order after 3 months of not doing much. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of time then. At least I will be well rested.

So, here are a few things I love and would really, really, really, really like to get!!

I love all of dwell studios line of nursery bedding. So modern and clean. I want to get some items from this line of bedding below (blankets, wall decals, sheets, etc.), but I actually just got another crib set from Wal-mart. They will go great together. If I was having a girl I know exactly what dwell set I would get. Maybe with our next one.
Finally, decided what crib I want. Can’t believe I am going with white, but I am loving it!! I see it on so many blogs, and this modern ikea crib, you can’t beat the price! My neighbor bought one and she has really liked it. Only problem is it does not fit a crib skirt! I guess I will be using that crib skirt I bought to make curtains, pillows, a quilt, etc. I really like this changing table from ikea, but I’m still not sure it is the one I want. I found another ikea changing table that will convert back to just a regular storage shelf and I think I may want that one. Funny thing is, I can find the picture of this other table online, but I can’t find where to buy it. I may have to go to the store and try to find it there. Again, something I have to wait for. Sigh…. Any little newborn boy outfit from naartjie. I love this store and almost bought a couple little outfits right before I went on bedrest. I could order some online, but I think I would rather wait and get them from the store. I don’t know. They are all so cute, soft, and cozy. They have such fun stripes and animal prints. I would love to put my little guy in one of their outfits.
This I know I want, the Joovey Stroller. Such a great stroller for families with more than one kid. Your baby goes in the front and your toddler can sit or stand in the back. Love the orange and black and all the clean lines.
